About Us
Welcome to Amelia Mahjong
At Amelia Mahjong, we believe the best memories are made around the table. What started as a Wednesday night Mahjong game with a group of local moms quickly transformed into something much more significant. I fell in love with the game, but even more with the friendships, laughter, and connection that blossomed every time we gathered to play.
Soon, Mahjong became a family affair. My husband, Brad, cheered on every new idea, and our daughters, Amelia and Kayce, couldn't wait to pull up a chair and join me for games using our cherished Mahjong tiles. While we weren’t always strict about following the official rules, and we certainly weren’t experts, we learned together, laughed together, and created moments that mattered.
Those moments inspired the vision behind Amelia Mahjong.
Our mission is simple: to make American Mahjong welcoming, approachable, and fun for everyone. Whether you're opening your very first tile set, teaching your children, gathering with lifelong friends, or rediscovering the game after years away, we want you to feel like you belong here.
We’re dedicated to thoughtfully creating and sourcing Mahjong products for beginners, families looking for a fun way to connect, experienced players, and future generations of Mahjong lovers. From beginner-friendly resources and Kids Mahjong learning tools to beautifully crafted accessories, quality Mahjong tiles, and other table essentials, we’re carefully building a collection that is approachable, stylish, and accessible. Everything we bring to Amelia Mahjong has one purpose—to help more people gather around the table, enjoy the game, and make lasting memories together.
For our family, Mahjong is about so much more than a game. It's about slowing down, sharing stories, celebrating milestones, and making space for the people we love. We hope Amelia Mahjong becomes a small part of those moments for your family, too.
Thank you for being here at the very beginning of our journey.
There's always room for one more at the Amelia table.
